Ali Shahab (born September 22, 1941 – died December 25, 2018) was a prominent Indonesian film director, screenwriter, journalist, and novelist. He was a pioneering figure in the Indonesian entertainment industry, best known for directing the classic horror film Beranak dalam Kubur (1971), which starred the legendary Suzzanna.
