Hans Cürlis filmed Kandinsky, Grosz, Pechstein, Dix, Kollwitz, Liebermann, and Calder at work, many years before Paul Hasaert’s Visite à Picasso. Cürlis had studed with Wölflin and had written his thesis on Dürer.
