Wu Zhaodi was a director and screenwriter in Mainland China and graduated from Beijing Film Academy. In 1948, he co-created the opera "Steel Bone and Iron Tendons" with Su Li and Wu Yin, which was later adapted into the drama "Iron Warrior" by Cheng Yin.
