Anjet Daanje (1965) works and lives in Groningen (the Netherlands). She wrote several novels and before that also several film scenarios. With her latest books she broke through to a large audience in the Netherlands. The novel The Song of Stork and Dromedary was crowned with both major literary prizes of the country.
