Eik Bjarne Skaløe, born Sørensen, was a Danish musician, singer and poet. He and Stig Møller founded the acid/folk rock group Steppeulvene in 1967. They became a symbol for the Copenhagen hippie movement. Eik Skaløe was found dead at Ferozopore/Firozpur, Northern Punjab, India in the autumn of 1968.
