I really enjoyed the first half. The way he moved away into the city with the corp life and came back, building up his skills and relationships again. His parents were so cute, I want a whole movie about them! The new relationship with Kayal built up beautifully. All in all nothing super new but feel good and beautifully made.
Until Ashwin appears and takes in half of the screentime. Not sure why this had to turn from feel good and food based movie into a revenge and fighting story... I hate watching some asshole do shit again and again and again just so he get's slapped in the last 5 minutes. It's frustrating, stretched the movie and took the focus from the bistro. Really a pity in my opinion, it started really strong and had some amazing scenes in the second half too.
