Chairman of the Souryukai, Yukihiro Kawaji (Hitoshi Ozawa), is shielded by Executive Director Takeshi Kanzaki (Hitomi Matsuda) who takes a bullet and is severely injured. The Sakata family holds an emergency executive meeting, attended by Detective Umezawa (Hoka Kinoshita) from the Fourth Investigative Division, to deny any involvement.
