This is what I hope for when I walk into an M. Night Shyamalan movie. Maybe he needs some lessons from Zoë Kravitz after her directorial debut.
I was highly skeptical about this film at first. It looked too jumpy and flashy, just another drug filled island movie. In addition, I didn’t have much faith in Channing Tatum as a dramatic actor.
In my opinion, this really stood out from all the island/tropical/beach thrillers that have all been dogshit. I really enjoyed this.
Naomi Ackie is absolutely amazing. Adria Arjona is a complete badass. The story has a great mystery to it. Definitely looking forward to seeing what Kravitz does next.
Its a good movie,but I not was ready for the twist,and Im not a sensitive person (body horror etc),but this movie gave me such a panicattack..
Somehow I missed that will be in the movie,I usually if i know the movie has scenes like this I come prepared but oh boy
