As expected, my expectations were too high. I was hoping for the same sort of movie as Fury Road but it couldn't and shouldn't be.
I enjoyed this movie, the costumes are amazing and I actually smiled seeing the citadel again and those characters from Fury Road.
One thing that was disappointing to me, was the soundtrack. Fury Road has such a great soundtrack, 'Brothers in Arms' and 'Many Mothers' mainly, where as here I thought there were many moments without any (memorable) music going on.
Also the beginning could have been much shorter and I thought this was set quite a while before Fury Road and thus I didn't miss Charlize Theron but then it ends right before Fury Road and now I wish she was at least in it for that scene.
I wonder if I will like or dislike this more in the future but for now I was entertained for sure, can't wait to rewatch Fury Road!
PS: I'VE WAITED SO LONG FOR THIS MOVIE, I WAS READY FOR THE FURY ROAD / FURIOSA DOUBLE BILL IN CINEMAS AND THEY DIDN'T DO THAT IN BELGIUM AND THAT SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!111!!!!!!!
I thought this was going to be horrible from the trailers (specifically Chris Hemsworth). Instead it honestly almost matches the perfection that is <i>Fury Road</i>.
Visually stunning. Brilliant performances from Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth. Might be my favorite Hemsworth role that I've seen yet.

What a brilliant revenge & origin story.
Only picks up in the second half but boy does it pick up. I feel like I need to compare it to fury road because it is sequel. I don't think it's better than Fury Road because of how it jumps from plot to plot in the first half but since the war rig scene with Jack, it is incredible.
Hemsworth is effortlessly funny and funny is not a word I thought I'll use in a Mad Max movie.
Personally, I didn't like Anja or Chris' acting that much, it was alright, but for me they had some of the weaker performances. Side characters like Imortan Joe or Jack stole the show whenever they appeared. Also way too long, as someone who is used to watching 3 hour long movies regularly I felt it was stretched and boring at times. Sometimes a little too disgusting for my taste. In total interesting for sure and it puts you into their world right from the start, but watching once is enough and I def prefer Fury Road.
