I think the movie is alright but not too strong in writing. The actors did very well, especially Kareena and Vivek. Good soundtrack, good atmosphere and interesting built up. Some very intense moments and I loved the ending. However, one stupid decision follows the next. The love story at first was weird, what woman would appreciate that behaviour and fall for him? And then, the movie tried to give many aspects of muslims but got stuck on the terrorist theme. Movies like New York did handle it better in my opinion.
Riyaaz infiltrating the group alone was dumb but somewhat relatable, just don't understand why he wouldn't reach out to police or FBI the second he is in and they were building bombs? He got the names and enough proof, plus the tension of the situation in the country overall would have made it easy for police to storm in. Why did he need to wait until people got in actual danger? Feels more like made up drama and suspension. Let's not forget the scene where the boss says no phones anymore but everyone except Riyaaz keeps using phones, haha.
