Nun war ich zum ersten Mal stinkig, dass ich keine bessere Heimkinoanlage habe. Sound ist ein riesen Faktor in dem Film und bei uns ist der leider null zur Geltung gekommen. Weiterhin habe ich sehr unter der Dunkelheit während der Nachtszenen gelitten. Ein wichtigen Plotpoint musste mir meine Freundin erklären, da ich es einfach nicht gesehen habe. Die Optik war aber an vielen Stellen störend für mich, da es wieder einen schlimmen Plastiklook hat, der mir auch bei Haunting of Hill House öfter mal den Spass geraubt hat. Patrick Wilson ist wie immer der Hammer, aber viele übersehen die Performance von Will Buie Jr., der hier auch nicht rumtrödelt. In the Tall Grass fühlt sich nie wie ein richtiger Horrorfilm an und ist zu keinem Moment gruselig, auch wenn er es gerne wäre. Spannend vielleicht, gruselig nein. Natali ist ein Filmemacher, der Herausforderungen sucht und zu unserem Glück auch interessantes Material gereicht bekommt. Egal, was er als nächstes in Angriff nimmt, es wird definitiv wieder interessant, auch wenn es vielleicht nicht wieder unser Herz erobert, wie es damals Cube erobert hat.

I can understand the negative reviews but I genuinely enjoyed watching this movie. Just go in, let the twists surprise you and enjoy the ride!

A really weird and confusing movie but it still kept me thinking till the end. From what I can say the rock in the grass keeps everyone stuck in a time-loop. But i still don't get where the loop starts or ends. Might need to watch a second time (which i think i won't). This time bending movie could have been better, shorter in length and less screaming of names. 6/10.

interesting first part, decent middle, and confusing/annoying last part! I expected more! **6.5/10** (+0.5 for the cinematography)

If only dead things doesn't move in the field then why didn't they carry on the dead dog with them and tried to escape?
