This movie was not exactly what the description says. It is the story of a daughter who has run away from home with her friend, but she is never really missing and is actually reunited with her parents in the first few minutes of the movie. But then the story is told from several different character's points of view so after we see the family reunited, we see the individual stories of the lead up to the reunion, and then we see the aftermath. There is also a twist at the end of this movie that I won't spoil, but it does come out of left field, and I was not expecting it at all. To be honest I am not sure it worked for the film, because it takes the tone of it in a completely different direction. Also, there were a few loose threads. For example I don't think we ever found out what happened to the friend, who stayed behind at one of the bus stops while Grace continued on the bus. (I may have just missed it though, maybe she arrived home?) It was well acted, and the music was good. The background scenery of rural Australia added some nice cinematography to the film. Its worth a watch, but don't go into it expecting a missing teenager story. Its not that.
