This homage to shot-on-video filmmakers was a bit all over the place.
As with a lot of anthology movies, there's going to be some shorts you don't like as much as other. But with this, there were quite a few shorts that were just plain boring, considering the length of each short, it's an accomplishment to make it boring.
The stand out shorts for me were Switchblade Insane (Tim Ritter), A Very Bad Situation (Marcus Koch), Gang Them Style (Ron Bonk) which had a lot of fun horror reference, Genre Bending (Chris Seaver) which I found the funniest and my favourite being The Tape (Tony Masiello) which was a fun and gory short about a man discovering a lost SOV film.
It's definitely worth checking out for big low budget horror lovers but it's nothing to get too excited about.
