This film is so hypnotic and moving, not just the camera and jazz score but the story, performances and everything else about it. Thought provoking in it's themes (even the minuscule ones) and succeeds well in that by obtaining our undivided attention.

Beautiful long takes put together seamlessly allow for the film to feel as real as possible. I thought it was funny to read that when Michael Keaton runs through the crowd, it was an actual crowd and the excitement was people identifying that Michael Keaton was running half-naked and freaking out.

Love the cinematography, but that's about it. Plot gets a 3/10 from me, for triteness and for being obvious an hour before the climax. Some good performances, yes, but also some flat ones. I seem to be finding a lot of critically acclaimed media "meh" lately.

I've read a lot of negative reviews and comments about this movie and that made me unable to watch it...But but now after watching it I think that this movie isn't overrated as everyone else says,it is really a cinematic experience that happens only once in a great while.
