A short documentary about the construction of Oslo City Hall. The process is followed from the laying of the first stone in 1931. An entire small neighborhood had to be demolished to make room for Oslo’s new civic landmark. The demolition and construction are thoroughly documented, and we also see the extensive work devoted to both exterior and interior decoration.
