During the Lantern Festival, Chen San encounters Wu Niang, and mutual attraction blossoms. Chen San cunningly enters the Huang household as a servant. Through clever schemes and determination, Wu Niang resists an arranged marriage, and the lovers ultimately unite in matrimony.
